Team Tecnifibre is set to take center stage on one of tennis’ biggest venues. Dennis Kudla, one of the US young guns, drew Roger Federer for his second match at Indian Wells. In his first match, he took down Tobias Kamke in a three set battle.

The “Prime Time” spot light is shining bright on Team Tecnifibre this weekend in the SoCal Desert. Be sure to tune in:

Trent Bryde & Tecnifibre – a Successful Combo

Trent Bryde is a 6th grader from Suwanee, GA who recently switched to Tecnifibre’s T-Fight 295 with Pro Red Code & MultiFeel string. Since switching, Trent has gone on a tear that challenge’s Novak Djokovic’s 2011 season. Trent’s first tournament with Tecnifibre was a National Level 3 where he won his first 3 matches before losing in the semifinals. His next tournament was the Southern Cup, where he won all 4 of his matches at the #1 position. He followed up at the Tecnifibre Fall Classic, a Southern Level 4, where he won the tournament by winning all 4 of his matches. He extending his winning streak to 13 by winning his first 5 matches at a Southern Level 2 in Cary, N.C., before losing in the finals to Jared Pratt. He then won 11 more matches in a row, which included 2 tournament titles, including a doubles title as well. He then reached the finals of a National Level 2, which extended his winning streak to 15 matches.

In total, since switching to his Tecnifibre T-Fight 295, Trent has won 31 our of 34 singles matches, and has won 4 tournaments, and reached 2 finals. Trent is currently ranked 13 in the nation and 1 in Georgia on tennisrecruiting.net, but with the way he’s playing, he is definitely one of the hottest players in the country and looking to continue improving his game. Congratulations to Trent on his amazing run, and we hope that he will continue to enjoy success with his Tecnifibre T-Fight 295 and Pro Red Code & MultiFeel string.

Denis breaks into top 300

Congratulations to Tecnifibre TEAM USA member Denis Kudla who has recently cracked into the top 300 in the ATP world rankings. Denis (T-Fight 325 VO2 Max) recently won a futures event in California which moved him up to a career high ranking of #27. (Click here for more on Denis’ title run.) We’re looking forward to watch Kudla as he continues to climb the ATP rank! Denis is currently playing in the Pan American Games in Mexico. Aby Madrigal Wins Indiana Doubles Championship

Tecnifibre USA TEAM member Aby Madrigal won the Indiana State High School Doubles Championship this past June. Aby (T-Flash 315 Speedflex) partnered with Liz Quinn to capture the title without dropping a set for Highland High School.

Kudla Wins Title at Laguna Niguel Futures

Tecnifibre USA TEAM member Denis Kudla won his second career singles title this week at Lagana Niguel, California. Denis (T-Fight 325 VO2 Max) won 5 rounds without dropping a set en route to the victory at the $10,000 futures event. Denis defeated Bakalov 6-1, 6-0, Sarkissian 6-3, 6-3, and C. Harrison 6-0, 6-1 in his first three matches. In the semifinals, Denis was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Takanyi Garanganga, and continued rolling in the championship match with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Dennis Lajola.

Kudla Wins Two in U.S. Open Qualies

Denis Kudla (T-Fight 325) battled to two very tough victories in this years U.S. Open qualifying draw. Dennis defeated world #233 Andrea Arnaboldi in his first match in a tough 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(7) decision. Dennis fired 9 aces and won more than 80% of his first serve points en route to upsetting the left-hander from Italy. In his second match, Dennis had to bounce back from his marathon first round match and go the distance again; this time defeating world #150 Evgeny Donskoy, 1-6, 6-3, 7-6(5). Denis ran into a tough opponent in the qualifying round, falling to Frenchman Romain Jouan, 6-4, 6-2. Congrats to Denis on 2 well-earned victories!

Alex Rotsaert, Zach McCourt Win Gold Balls; Kyspon Wins Silver Ball at Clay Courts

At the second largest junior USTA tournament of the season, Tecnifibre USA TEAM members Alex Rotsaert (Boys 12′s) and Zach McCourt (Boys 18′s) both won gold balls in doubles and Patrick Kypson (Boys 12′s) won a silver ball in singles. The USTA Clay Court Championships were held in at different locations across the country for the different age divisions. The tournament is a USTA Level 1 competition.

Tecnifibre TEAM USA member Alex Rotsaert (T-Fight 295 & Black Code / Duramix HD) partnered with Nathan Perrone to take the boys doubles main draw title. The duo entered the tournament seeded 5th and lost only 15 games in their first 5 matches. In the finals, Alex and Nathan defeated McNally and Rose 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Rotsaert also reached the quarterfinals of the singles draw. He entered the tournament seeded 16th and cruised into the quarterfinals before falling to Patrick Kypson 6-1, 6-3.

Patrick (T-Flash 300 & Duramix HD) cruised into the finals (his toughest match came in the quarterfinals against Alex) and met another player who reached the final with ease. Connor Hance proved to be too strong for Patrick as he used his size advantage to over-power Kyspon in a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Zach McCourt (T-Fight 325 & Red Code) partnered with Gordon Watson to win his second gold ball of the year. (Gold, Silver, and Bronze balls are the prize for placing in the top 3 at one of the years 4 USTA Supernational tournaments.) McCourt and Watson entered the tournament as the #2 seed and cruised easily into the semifinals where they defeated Christopher Cox and Andrew Adams 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. In the finals they had to battle through another tough 3 setter, defeating Alex Sydney and Vikram Hundal 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.

Sidney Riley (T-Fight 295 & Black Code) and Victoria Emma (T-Fight 295 & Black Code) also had good performances in the girls 14′s and 12′s draws, by reaching the quarterfinals.

Sachia Vickery Reaches Semifinals of $25,000 in Bogota

15 year old Tecnifibre TEAM USA member Sachia Vickery (T-Fight 295 VO2 Max) reached the semifinals of a 25,000 dollar tournament in Bogota, Colombia. Sachia is currently at her career high ranking of 604 in the world. She has had a good year to date, reaching the finals of a $10,000 in Gosier and having won a main draw match after passing through qualifying at a $50,000 in Carson, CA.

In Bogota, Sachia defeated qualifier Alexandra Riley 6-1, 6-3. In the second round Vickery got past 3rd seeded Brazilian Vivian Segnini 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 and followed the upset with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 win over 7th seeded Karen Castiblanco. She eventually lost in the semifinals to 2nd seeded Maria-Fernanda Alvaraz-Teran, 6-1, 7-5. Sachia also added a 6-3, 6-4 main draw doubles victory with Colombian partner Alexandra Moreno-Kaste.
