Tecnifibre TEAM USA member Mitchell Krueger won the Pan American ITF Championships last week. The tournament was a grade B1 hard-court event held in Tulsa, Oklahoma from October 11-15. The tournament consisted mainly of Americans, Mexicans, and Canadians, but also had players from Central and South America.
Mitchell (T-Fight 325 & Black Code), who is from Texas, entered the tournament as the top seed and won easily in his first round match, 6-0, 6-1. In the second round, Krueger dropped his only set of the tournament and rallied to earn a convincing 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 win over Samuel Monette. Mitchell cruised through his next 3 matches, with his closest set being 6-2. In the final, Mitchell defeated wildcard Noah Rubin, 6-4, 6-1.

Mitchell also reached the semifinals in doubles. He and Connor Farren entered the tournament as the #1 seeded team and won their first two matches before losing to the number four seeds, Monette/Peliwo, a Canadian team, who went on to win the tournament.
With this great result, Mitchell moved up to a new career high world ranking of #15.

Congratulations to Mitchell on another great result, and congratulations to all participants of the Pan American Championships. Good luck to all Tecnifibre TEAM members in upcoming events!
